Quality Control
You can see the reviews of the sellers from Aliexpress or Alibaba, that 1688 factories sometimes don’t have as they’re wholesalers. If you want to make sure the quality level of your products purchased from 1688 is the same as expected, you need a 3rd party agent to do the inspections on your behalf.
We mainly have two kinds of inspections arranged for our clients: Sample inspection and on-site inspection.
Sample Inspection:
- Buy the samples: You can buy the samples and send to us. We can also collect the sample for you, according to your instruction.
- Arrange the inspection: Once the samples arrived, we can take the photos and the video to show you as required.
- Check from the video: We can also arrange a video talk and check the samples together with you from online.
- Send the samples to you: We will pack all the samples and send to you if you need to test by yourself.
- Inspection cost: It’ll be totally free for our VIP customers but we charge $28 for an inspection of less than 10 samples for new clients.
- Deduction: Once the total amount you ordered reaches VIP 1 (200 parcels or $2000), the $28 will be deducted from your coming invoice.
- Related cost: The product cost and the freight of the parcel will be on behalf of the buyers.
On-site Inspection:
- What we do: Factory audit, pre-shipment inspection, during-production inspection, container loading inspection, etc.
- How to do: We work with an association of the inspectors all over China, that makes it easier to check the goods from local area. Considering of the big map of China, noramlly the distance from the inspector to the factory will be within 300km.
- Inspection cost: $158 per manday (2 hours transportation + 6 hours work). It means 1 day working of 1 inspector.
- What we need: Address and contact information of the supplier, order details, the checking point of the order.
- Standard: AQL standard is mainly used for any product inspections. AQL level can be required but the higher percentage of the order checked, longer time it takes, that means the cost will be higher.
- Inspection Report: Once the inspection completed, the report will be presented in the next 24 hours.
- Get your report: A large mailbox will be required as the report will be usually more than 100MB, with many photos in. Videos can be even larger. We also use wetransfer to send the report when sometimes buyer’s email rejects to be sent.
